Lucie Charkin is an Arts Educator, Curator and Producer. She established A Little Culture in California in 2013 in response to the need for more ways to connect the arts.
Before moving to the USA Lucie founded CultureBaby in London, where she also worked as Head Development at the Site Specific Art Agency Artangel and Head of Charitable Giving for The Natural History Museum's major Capital campaign to build the innovative Darwin Centre.
Prior to this Lucie spent five years in Asia as a specialist in Chinese Contemporary Art. Where she established ground-breaking galleries in Hong Kong and China . In 1998 Lucie created the first pop-up art exhibition inside the Forbidden City, Beijing.
She completed a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural History and Masters degrees in Critical Art Theory and Museum Studies, in London.
